Constitution

At the 2015 AGM (Annual General Meeting) held in November, the membership voted for the organisation to become a Company by Limited Guarantee. This basically means:

The organisation will be reporting to ASIC - Australian Securities & Investment Commission rather than the NSW Department of Fair Trading.
There will be no name change therefore the organisation will still hold it's legal name Inasmuch Community Incorporated.
The legal requirements for the Inasmuch board to financially govern the organisation are much stricter.
The organisation will continue to hold its Charitable Fundraising Status with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission; and
Also continue to hold its DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) and Tax Concession Status with the Australian Taxation Office.

The New Draft Constitution has Now Been Passed by Members

At the Special General Meeting of Members of Inasmuch Community Incorporated held on Thursday 26th May 2016 members of Inasmuch voted to pass the draft constitution. This new constitution for Inasmuch Community Incorporated will come into effect once the organisation is fully registered with ASIC (Australian Securities Investment Commission) as a Company by Limited Guarantee.

A Name Change in 2016 has now taken place.

Inasmuch Community Limited is the new name for the organisation as a direct result of the organisation becoming a company by limited guarantee.

The new Constitution is now available for members and/or potential members to download and review.
